These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the Client and Guru Car Detailing regarding the use of our mobile car detailing services.
2. DEFINITIONS
- Client: The person who books and receives services from Guru Car Detailing.
- Service Provider: Guru Car Detailing, a mobile car detailing business.
- Services: All cleaning and detailing activities performed by Guru Car Detailing.
- Service Location: The location specified by the Client where the service will take place.
3. MOBILE SERVICE REQUIREMENTS
Guru Car Detailing operates as a mobile detailing service. The Client is responsible for ensuring the following conditions:
- A safe and legal working environment for the technician.
- Adequate space for vehicle detailing.
- Access to a water and power source if required for specific services.
If these conditions are not met, Guru Car Detailing reserves the right to cancel the service without a refund.
4. BOOKINGS, PAYMENTS, AND CANCELLATIONS
4.1 Bookings
All bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance. By booking a service, the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
4.2 Payments
- Payments are accepted via cash, credit/debit card, or electronic transfer.
- Payment is required before or immediately after service completion.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
4.3 Cancellations and No-Shows
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- If the Client is unavailable at the agreed service location within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, the appointment will be canceled, and no refund will be issued.
- Guru Car Detailing reserves the right to refuse future bookings from Clients with multiple last-minute cancellations.
5. VEHICLE CONDITION ASSESSMENT AND PRICING ADJUSTMENTS
Before starting any service, Guru Car Detailing will assess the vehicle’s condition. Additional charges may apply for:
- Excessive dirt or grime.
- Stubborn stains, pet hair, mold, or strong odors.
- Chemical residue or neglected interiors.
The Client will be informed of any price adjustments before the service begins. If the Client declines the revised price, the appointment may be canceled without a refund.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Guru Car Detailing takes every precaution to care for your vehicle, but we are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to paint, upholstery, glass, plastic, or any other vehicle components.
- Unsatisfactory results in areas affected by extreme wear, oxidation, sun damage, or manufacturer defects.
- Loss or damage to personal belongings left inside the vehicle. Clients are responsible for removing personal items before service.
- Mechanical or electrical issues that arise during or after the service, as these may result from pre-existing conditions.
By booking a service, the Client expressly waives any legal claims against Guru Car Detailing related to the above conditions.
7. SERVICE GUARANTEE AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
- We strive to provide high-quality detailing services, but results may vary depending on the vehicle’s condition.
- If the Client is dissatisfied with the service, they must notify the technician before the technician leaves the service location.
- No complaints will be accepted after the service has been completed.
8. FORCE MAJEURE
Guru Car Detailing is not liable for service delays or cancellations caused by:
- Severe weather conditions.
- Government restrictions or unforeseen legal regulations.
- Personal or medical emergencies affecting the technician.
- Power, water supply, or access issues at the service location.
In such cases, the service may be rescheduled at no additional cost.
9. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
The Client agrees to:
- Provide a safe, legal, and accessible location for the service.
- Remove all personal belongings from the vehicle before service begins.
- Disclose any known pre-existing damage to the vehicle.
- Avoid interference while the technician is performing the service.
Failure to meet these conditions may result in service cancellation without a refund.
10. PRIVACY AND USE OF VEHICLE IMAGES
- Guru Car Detailing may take before-and-after photos of the vehicle for documentation and marketing purposes.
- The Client grants permission for these images to be used on our website and social media platforms unless they request otherwise before the service begins.
11. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Guru Car Detailing reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will take effect upon publication on our website.
12. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts within North Carolina.
